How do I use RetroArch to play the Arcade/NeoGeo games?
RetroArch is a frontend for multiple game systems. Each system is called a "core." To get started, open up RetroArch (it's the icon that looks like a Space Invaders alien on the 2nd page). To navigate the meuns, hold the WiiMote sideways (like a NES controller), using the 2 button to select an option and 1 to go back.
Pick "Load Core" and select the arcade system you want to play. It will load.
Pick "Load Content," then "Start Directory" to go to the main roms folder. Choose the folder for the core that you previously selected.
Pick a game by first choosing the game's folder, and then the game's zip file (if you see multiple zips, it's usually the first one).
Finally, pick "Load Archive" and a single suggested core should pop up. Press the 2 button to begin the game!

Are all games compatible with all emulators?
For most consoles, 99.9% of the games will run perfectly. However, N64 and PSX emulation can be hit and miss. I have included all of the N64 games with the highest compatibility (shown in green) and well as a few highly compatible PSX titles.
How can I return to the main menu from within a Gamecube game?

How do I load Wii/GameCube games from a USB flash drive / external hard drive?
Use "USB Loader GX" for this. GameCube games actually use the Nintendont app, but Nintendont is integrated into USB Loader GX itself.
GameCube:
Make sure your drive is in FAT32 format.
First, create a folder in the root of your USB drive called "games."
Within this folder, each GameCube game must be placed into its own individual folder. You can name it whatever you like.
Within each game folder, the game's disc must be named "game.iso" and if the game has a second disc, it must be named "disc2.iso."
Save files will be placed into a folder called "saves" by default.
For more information, see the "Game on SD" and "Game on USB" sections of this guide.
Wii:
Your drive can be FAT32 or NTFS format, but NTFS is recommended. FAT32 limits file sizes to 4GB so you will need to use Wii Backup Manager to add games larger than that.
Create a folder in the root of your USB drive called "wbfs."
Place your Wii games in this folder. They do not need to be placed into individual folders like Gamecube games do.
If any third-party controllers (like the ones I include) are connected while using USB Loader GX, it will crash. To get around this, keep all third-party controllers disconnected until you get into the actual game.
Why doesn't this Playstation/Sega CD game have any sound?
Make sure to choose the game file with the ".cue" extension, it is linked to the game's external music files. Some Playstation games do not have music due to the limitations of the emulator.

I was messing with the system and screwed something up! Is there a way to load a backup?
There is a file on the root of the SD card named "nand.bin." This contains a backup of the system.
Install BootMii. This app is used to save/restore system backups.
To navigate thru Bootmii you must use the buttons on the console or a Gamecube controller. Wii controllers will not work. (Console buttons: Power = Right, Eject = Left, Reset = Select)
Subreddit for Wii modding. This is usually the first place I'll look for an answer if I'm having a problem and if I can't find it, this is the first place I'll ask..
GBAtemp's Wii subforum. Some people here are really knowledgable about modding Wiis and about Wiis in general. If you have a more difficult question try here, but I usually have to wait a little longer for a response.
Google drive - Digital Games (Wiiware, Virtual Console, and DLC)
Note: If you get an error message while attempting to download a file from Google Drive, right click and select "Make A Copy." This will create a copy of the file(s) in your own Google drive. Click "My Drive" on the left side of the screen and you'll find the copies which you can then download.
If you enjoy your purchase, I would appreciate it if you left positive feedback. Have fun!
